| West Greenville Arts Festival | Sept. 18 & 19, 2010 | Upstate Visual Arts, in partnership with the Pendleton Street Arts District, is proud to be hosting the first ever West Greenville Arts Festival. A new and exciting weekend experience comprised of work from nearly 100 artists in a full range of two-dimensional and three-dimensional media. The street festival will not only feature booth artists, food vendors, live music, and children’s activities, but will also encourage interaction with the existing galleries and businesses located in West Greenville through a walking tour of the area. Saturday: 10am - 7pm, Sunday: 11am - 5pm. | ||||||
| Art for Paws a First Friday Event | October 1, 2010 | A First Friday open house event where 10 Central Avenue Studios will be open from 6pm to 9pm. You may browse the works by our 15 resident artists while sampling refreshments and hors d'oeuvres. Artists have donated several 12" x 12" paintings of pets which will be displayed, Sept. 6-20 at Smiley's Acoustic Cafe, Sept. 20-29 at Greenville Humane Society and finely at our studio the night of Oct. 1. | ||||||
| Joseph Fettingis Workshop | Oct. 4-7, 2010 | Nationally known watercolor artist Joseph Fettingis is coming to Greenville, SC for a four day watercolor workshop. Each day of the workshop will be filled with demos and plenty of time for students to paint with individual instruction from the artist. | ||||||
| First Fridays | Happens the 1st Friday of every month | The first Friday of each month, art galleries and venues will be open from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. offering local, regional, and national talents. A wide range of media will be represented: oils, watercolors, acrylics, pottery, jewelry, glassworks, woodworks, photography, and mixed media. | Open Studios | November 6 - 7, 2010 | Weekend tour of Greenville area artists' studios. Artists studios all across Greenville, SC will be open for the public to visit. Saturday the 6th, 10am - 6pm. Sunday the 7th, Noon - 6pm. In addition, 10 Central Avenue Studios will be open Friday the 5th from 6pm - 9pm as well. We're proud that 9 of our resident artists will be participating in this years event. Just think, one stop and you can see 9 artists at work in their studio. | ||||||

| Artisphere | May 13 - 15, 2011 | Artisphere, Greenville’s Arts Weekend, will be held in Downtown Greenville’s Historic West End. Recently ranked 46 out of 600 Fine Art Shows nationwide in Greg Lawler’s Art Fair Sourcebook, Artisphere expects another spectacular year. This year’s programming includes tried and true, crowd-pleasing favorites as well as several new attractions to keep patrons entertained for three solid days. | ||||||
